As more horrific and tragic stories emerge from Operation Swords of Iron, UIA remains fervent in our commitment to keeping our supporters up to date with timely information from credible sources, whilst always supporting the People of Israel.
We are therefore fortunate to be hosting a webinar this Thursday 26 October at 7.30pm AEDT with Steven Lowy, Keren Hayesod-UIA Chairman World Board of Trustees, who has just returned from Israel to hear and see firsthand what is happening on the ground and convey our support to those directly affected.
Steven together with Michal Uziyahu, Head of the Eshkol Community Centres, will give an address and answer questions about the incredible pain, resolute passion and unbelievable unity and clarity of purpose that they’ve seen from the people on the ground in Israel.
Situated along the border triangle of Israel with Gaza and Egypt, Eshkol is a community at the heart of the conflict. Michal is a former Shlicha of The Jewish Agency for Israel in Colorado and she is working directly with the regional Mayor to develop the region’s response to the incredible trauma they have endured. Hear how Keren Hayesod-UIA has already provided tangible and meaningful support to the survivors and their communities.
